Chelsea Ridley
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
AHPRA Registered
MPhysioSt, BBiomedSc
Chelsea is a compassionate and dedicated physiotherapist with a strong academic and clinical foundation. She holds a Master of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the body’s underlying systems and enabling her to take a holistic, evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment.
Chelsea has worked across private practice, sports, orthopaedics, community physiotherapy, neurological conditions and disability services, giving her extensive experience managing a broad range of conditions.
With a particular passion for musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, Chelsea is skilled in assessing movement dysfunction, identifying the underlying drivers of pain and disability, and managing the multiple factors that can influence recovery. She understands that successful rehabilitation often requires addressing more than the primary injury, considering strength deficits, movement patterns, lifestyle, persistent pain, chronic health conditions, confidence, and other physical and psychosocial factors that can impact function and long-term outcomes.
Chelsea’s treatment approach is evidence-based and patient-centred, combining targeted exercise prescription, manual therapy, education, and practical self-management strategies. She is passionate about empowering clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation, building their confidence, resilience, and ability to independently manage their condition while working towards meaningful personal goals.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Chelsea surfing or swimming at the beach, hiking through nature, tending to her vegetable garden and chickens, or cooking with fresh ingredients from local markets. She values balance and wellbeing in her own life and brings that same philosophy to her clinical practice.
